HOEKSTRA COLDSTORE (NAPK)

Noord Agter Paarl Koelkamers (NAPK) was built in 1996 as a dedicated cold store for the Hoekstra Group to reduce costs and to preserve and manage the cold-chain. Hoekstra Fruit Farms, Hoekstra Fruit Exporters and NAPK work closely together to deliver fruit of the highest quality to our clients. Our goal is to provide its clients with an outstanding service by cooling and handling palletized fruit in a way that is safe and does not compromise on quality.

NAPK’s services include intake, documentation, cooling, storage and dispatch of both cooled and uncooled palletized fruit. Other services include breaking down/rebuilding of pallets on request. NAPK cools and stores all Hoekstra Fruit Farms’ fruit as well as fruit from external clients.

NAPK aquired SOLAS VGM accreditation in 2016 and is authorised to use VGM Method 1 (Weighbridge) and Method 2 (Individual pallets).  NAPK recently installed a state of the art modular weighbridge catering for the recording of individual axle weights.

Special arrangements can be made to off-load trucks and load containers after hours.
